Leadership Team

Dr. Carl J. Bonnett is the founder and Chief Medical Doctor at Klarisana. As a twenty-year veteran of the Army National Guard, Carl saw ketamine therapy as a valuable way to help others in mental and physical distress. His vision of love and compassion gave shape and form to Klarisana, one of the country’s first-ever ketamine clinics, whose purpose is to serve all people who struggle with mental illness and chronic pain regardless of their background or any other discriminating factor.

Colorado Team

I completed my undergraduate degree at Purdue University in Health and Human Services and my Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Regis.
I have experience in helping clients with relationship issues, family conflicts, trauma, abuse, and coping with grief and loss. I work with my clients through various modalities to create an open and safe environment where thoughts and feelings can be shared without fear of judgment. I am a firm believer that you are the expert in your life. I didn’t live through your experiences, you did. I see my job as being to walk alongside you and help you sort life out by pointing out themes and asking deepening questions to help guide and support you.

I am from Dallas, TX, and have been practicing as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Colorado since February 2019. I graduated from the University of Arkansas in 2016 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Social Work and Psychology. I graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington with a Master of Social Work degree in 2018. My therapeutic style is client-centered, attachment-based, and trauma-informed while utilizing TF-CBT, DBT, IFS, and “inner child” approaches.

I received my Bachelor of Arts in Social Work from Colorado State University in 2004, and my Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Regis University in 2018.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, and aim to provide a welcoming, safe space where
you can fully be yourself. I believe we all have the capacity to grow, learn, and change,
and have innate strengths to draw upon. Wherever you are in your journey, I would be
honored to be alongside you. My counseling approach considers your needs and
personality while incorporating theory and techniques from client-centered, cognitive
behavioral, strength-based, and solution-focused therapy. Together we will work to
make positive changes in your life, working in a holistic manner that addresses the mind,
body, emotions, spirit, and social environment.
I look forward to connecting with you!
