I have done intensive in-home therapy, family therapy, and provided crisis management services. I have worked in an inpatient psychiatric hospital setting with adults and adolescents, as well as a school-based setting.

I utilize a holistic, non-direct, client-centered, and strengths-based therapeutic style.  I am equipped with a unique and personalized combination of cognitive and experiential techniques such as Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), mindfulness-based techniques, inner child work, attachment-based interventions, and approach clients with a trauma-focused lens.

I specialize in helping people navigate the effects of traumatic events, reparent their inner child, and reconstruct identities from a place of self-compassion, wisdom, personal values, and conscious choices.

I provide a warm and compassionate safe space to meet you where you’re at and walk alongside you to create a wholehearted life as your favorite Self.

Makayla Wilson
