What to expect

A spiritual healing experience

Lingering mental health conditions have the power of leading people astray from a fulfilling life journey. At Klarisana, we walk side by side with our patients through the transformational experience that allows them to reconnect with their sense of self and a more peaceful and balanced perception of the world around them.

Groundbreaking mental treatment with ketamine

We employ intramuscular (IM) ketamine, which puts patients quickly under the psychedelic influence, allowing them more time to delve into the vibrant soul-searching experience and take the most meaningful insights out of it.

Over the years, we have also developed a clinical approach to the treatment that relies not only on the therapeutic properties of ketamine but also on comprehending and connecting with each patient’s story to better guide the profound transformative experience that follows.

Psychological monitoring

Our patients’ health and comfort are a top priority for us, which is why our team conducts all ketamine therapy according to the highest standard of safety. Patients are closely monitored throughout the therapy sessions, and given the necessary peace of mind that all steps have been taken to maximize the efficacy and the safety of the treatment.

Affordable rates

At Klarisana, we are determined to make the healing potential of ketamine accessible to all individuals in need, which is why we work diligently to provide the most competitive prices for ketamine treatments.

In case you feel like you’re not ready to incorporate ketamine into your treatment approach yet, we work with a wide range of national insurance providers to make  behavioral health services  a more viable option in your mental health care journey.

In-house research studies

We are fully committed to furthering our investigation into the medicinal potential of ketamine to perfect our scientific practices even more and come to a better understanding of the full specter of its effects in tackling mental illness.

An organization founded on compassion

Founded in 2015 by Dr. Carl J. Bonnett, a war veteran whose vision of love and compassion gave shape and form to Klarisana, one of the country’s first-ever ketamine clinics. To this day, Klarisana remains a lead provider of ketamine therapy services in the states of Texas and Colorado, providing the most compassionate and professional approach in the field of mental health services.

Compassionate Longmont ketamine specialists by your side

As a founding member of the American Society of Ketamine Physicians, our experience, compassion, and true belief in the power of ketamine therapy form the foundation of our team’s principles.

Dedicated to delivering the ultimate personalized care for every patient, each member of the Klarisana Longmont team owns the experience and training necessary to provide you with the safest and most comfortable experience possible.

Our treatment protocols are sustained by published medical evidence, specifically designed to empower and support our patients as they revisit past traumas and painful memories from a much more positive and deeply spiritual perspective.

My name is Arlene. I identify as Queer/Non-Binary and I am a Licensed Social Worker.

I am intensely passionate about trauma informed healing modalities and social justice.

I’m currently geeking out about ant farms and ant species/colonies in my spare time. I love to dance, thrift, be outside and be goofy with my friends. A weird fact about me is that I was born in the Outback of Australia. Oh and I love collecting miniature alligators and horse trinkets
Hannah Gunnison
Medical Provider
I am a family nurse practitioner with 10 years of experience in the healthcare field. I am passionate about mental health and holistic wellness and I am currently completing a program in functional/holistic medicine. I believe in working with patients to find the root cause of their symptoms in order to help them fully heal. I believe that psychedelic medicine can be a gateway to help patients address the root cause of their mental health struggles in a way that other therapies are not able. It has been a privilege to work in the psychedelic medicine space and to witness the healing transformations of so many patients. I strive to make a meaningful difference in the lives of my patients, and in the clinic I hope to serve as a beacon of hope, supporting my patients on their healing journey. I am a Kansas City native and recently moved to Colorado. Outside of work I like to spend as much time as possible outdoors, exploring the beauty that Colorado has to offer.
Samantha Stern
Medical Provider
I graduated from Pacific University in 2017 and bring 7 years of experience and a passion for mental health to my role at Klarisana. I began my career in Lake Tahoe working in primary care before my interest in mental health led me to move to Maine and specialize in addiction medicine and psychiatric care. I later moved to Denver and joined the Klarisana team in 2023, marking a new chapter in my career. I am excited about the opportunity to practice in the field of alternative mental health treatment. I believe deeply in the power of alternative mental health treatments and am dedicated to offering my patients the most effective care options available, contributing significantly to their recovery and well-being. Outside of my professional life, I am an avid explorer who enjoys international travel, snowboarding, and discovering all that Colorado has to offer.
Ulysses Diaz

I completed my master’s in social work from the University of Illinois at Chicago Jane Addams School of Social Work. I have experience working in higher education as a counselor for 13+ years. I am also an adherence rater for Lykos Therapeutics, formerly known as MAPS PBC and I have been working in private practice for a few years.

Working with flowery dreams, as the indigenous Mexica of Mexico called altered states of consciousness, is an honor and a privilege. My goal is to support the journey many individuals take with psychedelics from the mind to the heart through the body.

When I am not working I enjoy outdoor activities such as hiking with my partner and dog Nube & enjoy concerts.

Erica Henston
Behavioral Health Provider
I originally graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in communication and art history from Denison University in 2008. After some searching, I learned my passion was in helping others. I have been an emergency room nurse for over 11 years. Working in emergency has given me the opportunity to work with diverse groups of people and situations. My passion for alternative medicine developed years ago when I felt there was a disconnect in treating the diagnosis, but not the person. I graduated with my master’s in nursing with a specialty in psychiatry from Saint Louis University and have a certificate degree in alternative and integrative medicine from the University of Colorado. I love being a bedside nurse, but I am ready to take my knowledge and dive into what I believe to be the future of psychiatric medicine. As a PMHNP I hope to work with each individual and collaborate on the best treatment plan to enhance well-being.
Jeanine Snyder
Medical Provider
I am a Family Nurse Practitioner who started my career in Exercise Physiology before pursuing a nursing degree. I obtained a BSN from Regis University in 2012 and after nearly a decade of critical care and post-surgical care, I returned to school to become a Nurse Practitioner. My passion is to not only save lives but to increase the quality of life by having a collaborative approach with my patients. I believe that we are a team- I may have medical expertise, however, you are the expert of your own body so together we will work to improve your life.

My journey to psychedelic medicine was a personal one. After working through the pandemic as a front line nurse, there were several colleagues of mine who struggled with their mental health. One of my them found Klarisana and she expressed to me how significant this treatment was to saving her life. Now that I have been working closely with this team for almost two years, I can see why she overcame her depression. I feel very lucky to be a part of a culture committed to compassion, authenticity, and patient-focused care.

When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my family, playing fetch with our four dogs, learning a new sport to play, and re-watching the Office.
Makayla Wilson

I am a Colorado Native and love spending time in the mountains. Work-life balance is important to me, when I’m not working, I enjoy off-roading in my Jeep, hiking, paddle-boarding, swimming, reading, swimming and going on adventures with my three sweet dogs who are my kids.

Clinical Manager,
Medical Provider
I completed my bachelor’s in nursing at the University of Oklahoma (Boomer Sooner), and my master’s with Frontier Nursing University in Kentucky. My experience prior to Klarisana mostly took place in the hospital- on the cardiac, transplant, and orthopedic units. My top priorities for my practice are safety and integrity, I want patients to feel cared for and feel trust in this clinic and our process. I have a passion for this type of medicine, and a lot of this is due to the outcomes in our patients and the amazing transformations I have been able to witness.

When I am not working I enjoy walking my senior dog, being out in nature, and spending time with my friends, family, and partner.
